Andrew Eddleston Pottery
I have been working with pottery/ceramics for over 20 years now. For 10 of these I worked for various potters and potteries but mainly at Walcot Pottery where I was the main thrower producing the whole range of products and developing new shapes.
I have always made my own range of pottery but for the last ten years I have concentrated on developing my range. I mainly make functional, slip decorated, high fired earthenware, most of which is thrown.
Alongside my pottery I am also the very part time pottery technician for Frome Community College adult learning and leisure.
I run a pottery group for Connection Day services in Radstock (now run by Sirona). We make a range of pottery items from tiles and fridge magnets to small decorative plant pots and herb labels. The group has also made the pieces for several wall mounted murals.
I also run workshops for adults and children and after school pottery sessions.
